What types of fabrics do you use for your dresses?

We specialize in silk fabrics including brocade, crepe, charmeuse, chiffon, dupioni, habotai, organza and other fine silks. These fabrics require an expert level of sewing craftsmanship to transform the fabrics into beautiful garments.

Pure silk is a natural product and will always have variations in the weave with cross-grain marks, random woven threads, or tiny nubs showing. This is part of its beautiful textile quality and distinguishes it from lesser quality silks or silk blends. This is not to be considered a defect. We inspect all our garments before they are shipped and don't release any item that may have a mark that is not a natural part of the fabric.
