Why do you ask for the child's body measurements?

We customize all dresses to fit the child's body at no extra charge. We've found providing this service minimizing the need for alterations. The dress is cut to fit the child's body rather than a standard size assuring a better fit. In order to do this, we will need the child's body measurements before processing the order. The order form will indicate which measurements are needed for the selected design. Follow the recommendations for taking measurements shown on the size chart page. Use a standard cloth measuring tape to take the measurements. We don't recommend using a string, ruler, or metal tape measure. If you are uncomfortable with taking the measurements, please have the child professionally measured by a tailor and tell the tailor what measurements you need for the order.
